Sacred Soul Convent School

Sacred Soul Convent Senior Secondary School was founded with a vision for the futuristic educational needs of the students. It is an English Medium, Co-educational Senior Secondary School affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school’s chief aim is to pursue excellence in all walks of child development which is an endless and relentless quest. The school came into existence in April 1999 with classes Pre-Nursery to UKG in a rented house as “PARENTS PRIDE” playway school in Phase-2, Dugri. Ever since, the foundation stone for the new school building named “SACRED SOUL” was laid on 9th November 2001 by Dr. Rameshwar Singh Lilly and Mrs. Harinder Lilly, the school has taken great strides forward. The first session commenced in 2002. The untiring endeavor of Mr. Gurmail Singh Gill (President) have enabled the school to scale new glories. Now the school has classes from Nursery to XII with Humanities, Commerce, Medical and Non Medicals Groups.

The school is dedicated to the loving and sweet memory of esteemed “Maji Thakri ji” the great grandmother of Mr. Gurmail Singh Gill (President). Maji Thakri ji was a great visionary who served as a guide, guardian and mentor not only to her own family but the whole village community. Her love, kindness & compassion touched the lives of many. She led selfless lifestyle and was dedicated towards creating a better way of life for others.

The school, has its premises spread over two acres of land and managed by the “ Maji Thakriji Educational Society”, committed to the cause of imparting quality education to the children of both rural as well as urban children of Ludhiana. The school is widely recognized for its progressive approach and commitment to excellence.

The school stands on 2 acre pollution free campus. The school infrastructure has been suitably planned to facilitate learning and all around development of the child. The school has a well stacked library and the students are encouraged to use it to inculcate reading habits. The school has a well-equipped Computer Room for computer literacy programme. The school has Smart Classes so that their education is at par with the international students.

School provides comprehensive education, keeping in view the country’s rich heritage and cultural background.
